The company achieved a remarkable 75.87% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching Rs. 279.27 Crores. Despite a 59% increase in gold prices, the company successfully maintained a volume growth of 15.14%, reflecting robust consumer demand and a successful expansion of its non-gold product segment, which surged by 61%.
Significant Revenue Growth
Thangamayil Jewellery Limited has demonstrated strong financial momentum, recording Rs. 279.27 Crores in revenue for the recent Akshaya Tritiya festivities. This represents a substantial increase over the Rs. 158.80 Crores reported during the corresponding period in the previous year, marking an impressive 75.87% year-on-year growth.
Volume and Market Resilience
The festival results highlight the company’s ability to navigate volatile market conditions. Even with a 59% increase in gold prices compared to the previous year, the company saw a healthy rise in sales volume. Total gold sales reached 183.20 kg, up from 159.11 kg in the prior year, translating to a 15.14% increase in volume.
Non-Gold Segment Expansion
Beyond gold sales, the company’s non-gold revenue stream also experienced robust growth. Revenue from this segment reached Rs. 17.99 Crores, reflecting a 61% increase compared to the Rs. 11.17 Crores generated during the previous year’s festival, underscoring the success of the company’s diversified product portfolio.
