Texmaco Rail: Secures ₹131 Crore in New Orders

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. has announced the receipt of two new orders aggregating to ₹131.36 Crores. The orders include a contract worth ₹24.48 Crores from Transport Corporation of India Limited and another for ₹106.88 Crores from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited. These orders are for the manufacture and supply of various types of wagons, reinforcing the company’s order book and future revenue prospects.

New Orders Boost Order Book

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. has secured significant new business, announcing the receipt of two orders totaling ₹131.36 Crores. This development is expected to strengthen the company’s financial performance and market position in the railcar manufacturing and leasing sector.

Order Details

The first order, valued at ₹24.48 Crores, comes from Transport Corporation of India Limited. This contract involves the manufacture, supply, and commissioning of one rake of ACT-1 wagons along with one BVCM wagon, with execution expected within 16 weeks from the Letter of Intent (LOI).

The second and larger order, amounting to ₹106.88 Crores, has been awarded by Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited. This order is for the manufacture and supply of four rakes of BFNS22.9 wagons, also along with four BVCM wagons. This order is scheduled for execution by 26th May, 2027.

Related Party Transaction

In relation to the order from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited, the company clarified that while it is a promoter of Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Limited, there is no conflict of interest. The transaction has been conducted on an arm’s length basis.
