Tech Mahindra has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary, Yabx Technologies Uganda Limited (“Yabx Uganda”), in the Republic of Uganda on December 22, 2025. This new entity will focus on providing software and analytics platforms and related services within Uganda. Yabx Uganda is a subsidiary of Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V., which is itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited, a Tech Mahindra subsidiary.
New Subsidiary Formed
Tech Mahindra has expanded its global presence with the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary, Yabx Technologies Uganda Limited (“Yabx Uganda”), officially established in the Republic of Uganda on December 22, 2025. The company received official confirmation of the incorporation on the same day at 9:11 p.m. (IST).
Business Focus
Yabx Uganda will specialize in providing software and analytics platforms and related services within the Ugandan market. This strategic move aligns with the company’s broader business objectives of expanding its offerings in the software and analytics sector. The share capital is UGX 1,700,000, comprised of 17,000 Shares at UGX 100/- each.
Ownership Structure
The newly formed Yabx Uganda is a subsidiary of Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V. (“Yabx Netherlands”). Yabx Netherlands is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited, which, in turn, is a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. Tech Mahindra, through Yabx Netherlands, holds 100% of the shareholding in Yabx Uganda. As of the announcement date, Yabx Uganda is yet to commence its business operations. The entity is registered in the Republic of Uganda.
