TCM Limited: Expands Feed Division with New Poultry Feed Launch

TCM Limited has announced the launch of its new poultry feed product, marking a significant step in the expansion of its Feed division. This strategic move involves leveraging a leased commercial factory space with an area of 10,760 Sq Ft. The company has invested a total of ₹2.50 Crore, comprising ₹0.50 Crore for machinery and tools and ₹1.50 Crore for working capital requirements. This expansion is funded through Internal Accruals and aims to address evolving market demand.

TCM Limited Launches Poultry Feed Product

TCM Limited has officially launched its new poultry feed product, signaling a key expansion initiative within its Feed division. This strategic move is part of the company’s broader growth plans and involves operations at a leased facility located at Pulinchode, Kanjikode, Palakkad, Kerala. The premises consist of a commercial factory and office space with a built-up area of 10,760 Sq Ft, owned by M/s Better Feeds Pvt Ltd.

Capacity Expansion and Investment

The existing manufacturing capacity of the Feed Division at the Kalady Plant is 1000 Tonnes per month, primarily for cattle feed. The new poultry feed production is expected to add approximately 1500 Tonnes per month. The company anticipates an initial capacity utilization of less than 20% for the poultry feed production during the first six months. The proposed capacity addition is scheduled to be implemented by September 2026.

The total investment required for this expansion amounts to ₹2.50 Crore. This includes ₹0.50 Crore for the purchase of machinery and tools and ₹1.50 Crore for working capital requirements. The company plans to finance this expansion through Internal Accruals. TCM Limited aims to sustain long-term growth, address evolving market demand, and consistently exceed customer expectations with this new product offering.
