Tata Consultancy Services CEO Issues Update on Recent Nashik Unit Developments

TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K. Krithivasan has provided a formal update regarding ongoing developments at the company’s Nashik unit. The firm has launched an internal investigation supported by independent experts, dismissed inaccuracies regarding business operations, and reiterated its firm commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and ethical workplace environment for all employees.

Independent Investigation Initiated

To ensure transparency and address concerns, TCS has launched an internal investigation led by Ms. Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO. To bolster the integrity of this process, the company has engaged expert teams from Deloitte and the law firm Trilegal as independent counsel. Furthermore, an oversight committee has been formally constituted, chaired by Independent Director Mr. Keki Mistry, to review the investigation’s findings and implement recommended actions.

Clarifying Operational Facts

Management has moved to address misinformation circulating in the press. TCS confirmed that the Nashik unit remains fully operational and continues to serve its client base, labeling reports of a site shutdown as entirely untrue. Additionally, the company clarified that the individual frequently mentioned in recent reports was a process associate who held no recruitment responsibilities or leadership status within the organization.

Commitment to Workplace Standards

A preliminary review of systems and records suggests that no complaints related to the alleged misconduct have been filed through the company’s official ethics or POSH channels. TCS maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct or coercion and continues to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies to ensure a thorough and transparent resolution to the matter.
