This transaction, valued at an aggregate investment of approximately USD 2.10 billion (equivalent to approximately ₹18,488.10 crore), is a crucial step in consolidating the company’s presence and control over its key steel assets. The acquisition involves acquiring equity shares from a foreign subsidiary, further integrating T Steel Holdings under the Tata Steel umbrella.

The total consideration paid for this stake acquisition amounts to USD 1.40 billion (approximately ₹11,340.16 crore) in cash, paid to T Steel Holdings.
