Surya Roshni Limited Q4 & FY26 Results Show Resilient Growth and Strategic Progress

Surya Roshni Limited reported stable consolidated revenue of ₹2,163 crore in Q4 FY26, a 12% sequential increase. For the full fiscal year, revenue reached ₹7,540 crore. Despite global geopolitical challenges, the company’s Steel Pipe and Strips segment achieved record quarterly dispatch volumes of ~2.6 lakh tonnes. The Lighting and Consumer Durables segment also maintained healthy growth, supported by strategic investments in brand building and the expansion of its FMEG portfolio.

Surya Roshni Limited has demonstrated resilient operational performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The consolidated revenue for Q4 FY26 stood at ₹2,163 crore, representing a 12% growth compared to the previous quarter. The annual revenue for FY26 reached ₹7,540 crore, marking a 1% year-on-year increase. While EBITDA for the fiscal year was ₹541 crore, the company remains in a strong position with a net cash surplus of ₹337 crore as of March 31, 2026, reflecting a lean balance sheet.

Steel Pipe and Strips Performance

The Steel Pipe and Strips business showcased resilience despite market volatility, achieving its highest-ever quarterly dispatch volumes of ~2.6 lakh tonnes in Q4 FY26. Value-added products now contribute ~43% to the overall volume. The company’s focus on high-growth areas, including API pipes for Oil & Gas and the 3LPE coating facility, continues to drive profitability. With a robust order book of ₹1,000 crore, the company has strong visibility for H1 FY27, particularly in exports and specialized infrastructure projects.

Lighting and Consumer Durables Expansion

The Lighting and Consumer Durables segment reported ₹501 crore in revenue for Q4 FY26, a 9% year-on-year growth. This performance was driven by strong momentum in LED bulbs, battens, professional lighting, and home appliances. The company is actively strengthening its market position as an Emerging FMEG player, having recently launched new products like digital water heaters and Turbo Flex wires. Strategic initiatives, including the PLI scheme for LED components, are successfully reducing import dependency and enhancing the company’s backward integration capabilities.

Strategic Outlook

Surya Roshni continues to focus on value creation through its deep-rooted distribution network, which includes over 300,000 retail outlets. By leveraging the ‘Prakash Surya’ brand and onboarding cricketer Suryakumar Yadav as a brand ambassador, the company is intensifying its engagement with both urban and rural consumers. Future growth is supported by positive demand drivers in the Oil & Gas, City Gas Distribution, and infrastructure sectors, alongside ongoing brownfield expansions at existing manufacturing facilities.
