This release is subject to a deposit of ₹72 lakh within one week. The court’s decision, dated September 22, 2026, permits the company to secure its goods while allowing for ongoing adjudication and criminal proceedings.
Court Approves Provisional Release of Goods
Supriya Lifescience Limited announced today that the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay has passed an order dated September 22, 2026, regarding the Company’s application for the provisional release of a consignment. The consignment, weighing 200 kg of Ketamine Hydrochloride and covered under Shipping Bill No. 3780061 dated June 2, 2026, will be released provisionally.
Key Conditions and Proceedings
The provisional release is subject to the Company depositing ₹72 lakh with the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Export, ACC, Mumbai-III, within one week from the date of the order. The Hon’ble Court also clarified that adjudication and criminal proceedings may continue in accordance with the law. Furthermore, the concerned officer has the discretion to follow procedures under Section 52A of the NDPS Act.
