Sundram Fasteners: Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 20% to ₹1,846 Cr

Sundram Fasteners Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹1,846.07 crore, a 20% increase year-on-year. Standalone revenue also saw a robust growth of 20%, reaching ₹1,614.76 crore. Consolidated net profit after tax stood at ₹168.69 crore, up 14% from the previous year.

Sundram Fasteners Reports Strong Q1 Performance

Sundram Fasteners Limited has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, showcasing significant growth across both consolidated and standalone operations. The company’s Board of Directors approved these unaudited financial results on August 4, 2026.

Consolidated Financial Highlights

The consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter reached ₹1,846.07 crore, marking a substantial 20% increase compared to ₹1,533.39 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Consolidated net profit after tax for the quarter was reported at ₹168.69 crore, an increase of 14% from the ₹147.94 crore recorded in the prior year. Earnings per share (EPS) on a consolidated basis were ₹8.01.

Standalone Financial Performance

On a standalone basis, Sundram Fasteners reported revenue from operations of ₹1,614.76 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. This represents a 20% growth from the ₹1,350.17 crore achieved in the same quarter last year. The standalone net profit after tax for the period was ₹150.97 crore, up from ₹138.35 crore in the previous year. The standalone EPS stood at ₹7.18.

Market Outlook and Strategy

Ms. Arathi Krishna, Managing Director, expressed optimism about the company’s performance, stating, “We have entered the new financial year on a strong footing, buoyed by improving business conditions across key markets and the enduring confidence of our customers.” The company highlighted its strategic focus on expanding into adjacent product categories, enhancing technological capabilities, and diversifying revenue streams across automotive, industrial, renewable energy, and emerging mobility sectors. Investments in Industry 4.0 technologies are also contributing to increased productivity and quality.

Capital Expenditure Plans

To drive long-term growth, Sundram Fasteners has earmarked a capital expenditure of ₹400 crore for capacity expansion. This investment will focus on enhancing capabilities for various vehicle segments, including EVs, and strengthening the company’s presence in the wind energy, space, and aerospace industries. An additional investment of approximately ₹250 crore is planned for the Fasteners Division, with about ₹100 crore allocated to the Cast and Machined Assemblies business.
