The decision was ratified by the Board of Directors during a meeting held on August 3, 2026. This move is in strict adherence to the provisions outlined in the RBI (NBFCs – Compliance Function) Directions, 2026. The Nomination, Compensation, and Remuneration Committee played a key role, recommending Mr. Srikant for this extended tenure based on his extensive experience. His initial appointment as Chief Compliance Officer was effective August 11, 2023, for a three-year term.

With over three decades of experience within the Sundaram Finance Group, Mr. Srikant brings a wealth of knowledge in regulatory compliance, secretarial matters, and HR functions. He oversees adherence to applicable RBI Directions/Guidelines, the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, and other regulatory mandates. His reappointment underscores the company’s commitment to robust governance and compliance practices.
