Ex-US Markets Drive Growth

For the first time, Ex-US markets surpassed the US business in quarterly revenue. The US business also showed positive momentum, growing 9% year-on-year to ₹6,855 million, with 3 products launched during the quarter. Management Commentary

Mr. Badree Komandur, MD & Group CEO, commented on the results, stating, “Strides delivered a strong second quarter, with revenue of ₹14,297 million growing ~17% YoY, driven by Ex-US Markets. Our diversification strategy continues to play out, with Ex-US Markets growing 31% YoY to ₹6,963 million and, for the first time, surpassing our US business in quarterly revenue.” He also noted that despite higher input costs due to geopolitical disruptions, the company remains focused on mitigating these pressures through cost optimization. Net Debt increased by ₹2,114 million during H1 FY27 due to an elongated cash-to-cash cycle and higher inventory holding, but the company expects the Net Debt to EBITDA ratio to stabilize by year-end.
