Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) has announced that a subsidiary has received a Product Award Letter from a major hyperscale partner. Valued at approximately $1.11 billion, the multi-year contract involves the supply of optical connectivity products to support AI data center build-outs in the United States. This significant partnership will span from FY27 to March 2029, strengthening the company’s position as a key provider of connectivity infrastructure for next-generation AI networks.
Strategic AI Infrastructure Partnership
Sterlite Technologies Limited has secured a landmark agreement with a hyperscale partner, marking a major milestone in the company’s efforts to support global AI data center expansion. The contract, valued at over $1.11 billion, will see STL provide its advanced optical connectivity solutions to meet the demanding requirements of modern data center architectures.
Scope and Implementation
Under the terms of the agreement, supply of products will commence in FY27 and continue through March 2029. The contract is designed to facilitate the high-speed connectivity needed for GPU clusters and massive fiber deployments. To ensure operational stability, the deal includes a reciprocal risk-sharing framework, establishing capped financial liabilities for both parties to mitigate potential market demand shortfalls or supply chain constraints.
Driving Innovation with Neuralis
This collaboration leverages STL’s newly launched Neuralis AI Data Center Portfolio. The products deployed under this contract include ultra-high-density, pre-terminated fiber cables for AI Whitespace management and the Celesta IBR cable series, which features high-capacity designs capable of supporting up to 6,912 fibers. According to company leadership, this deal reinforces STL’s role as a critical enabler for the connectivity backbone of the world’s most advanced AI data centers.
