State Bank of India (SBI) has released its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The bank announced a net profit of ₹21,121.22 crore for the period. This represents a significant outcome following the board meeting held on August 7, 2026.

Standalone Performance

For the standalone operations, SBI reported a net profit of ₹21,121.22 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The total income earned was ₹1,43,819.15 crore, while interest expended amounted to ₹80,904.02 crore.

Consolidated Performance

On a consolidated basis, which includes its subsidiaries and joint ventures, SBI’s net profit stood at ₹21,121.22 crore for the same quarter. The total consolidated income was reported as ₹1,80,061.86 crore, with interest expended at ₹82,247.57 crore.

Operational and Ratio Insights

The bank’s financial disclosures also provided insights into various operational metrics. The capital adequacy ratio (Basel III) was reported at 15.67%, with a CET 1 ratio of 12.89%. The percentage of gross NPAs stood at 1.47%, and the percentage of net NPAs was 0.38%.

Earnings per share (EPS) were ₹22.88 (basic and diluted) before extraordinary items. The statement also detailed the security cover certificates and compliance of financial covenants for listed unsecured non-convertible debt securities, confirming compliance as of June 30, 2026.

These results were subject to a limited review by the Bank’s Statutory Central Auditors and approved by the Board of Directors.
