The company highlighted a sustained growth momentum, driven by a favorable domestic automotive market backdrop.
Q2FY27 Financial Highlights
In the second quarter of FY27 (Q2FY27), SPR Auto Technologies reported a consolidated total income of ₹16,746 Million, marking a substantial increase of 61% compared to the same quarter in the previous year (Q2FY26). Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter grew by 29% YoY to ₹3,004 Million. The company noted that this performance was achieved despite challenging global economic conditions, including geopolitical tensions, volatile commodity prices, and supply-chain disruptions.
H1FY27 Financial Performance
For the first half of FY27 (H1FY27), the consolidated total income reached ₹31,738 Million, representing a growth of 56% YoY over H1FY26. Consolidated EBITDA for H1FY27 stood at ₹5,831 Million, up by 28% YoY. These results underscore the resilience of the company’s business model and its ability to navigate macroeconomic headwinds.
Factors Influencing Performance
The company attributed its strong performance to the robust domestic automotive industry, which experienced high sales across various vehicle categories. Passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers all recorded their highest-ever Q2 sales. While margins were impacted by rising commodity costs and a temporary increase in finance costs related to acquisitions, the core business remained steady, with standalone Total Income growing 17% YoY. The recently acquired Auto Interiors and Lighting business also performed exceedingly well.
Strategic Initiatives and Outlook
SPR Auto Technologies also highlighted its successful conclusion of a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), raising ₹10,000 Million, which will further strengthen its balance sheet. The company has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement for renewable power for its Rajasthan facilities, supporting its sustainability objectives. Management expressed confidence in navigating the dynamic global environment, leveraging its resilient core business and expanding powertrain-agnostic portfolio.
