Mr. Ananth Babu, who holds a PGDM and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, is a seasoned retail banking professional with over 24 years of experience. His expertise spans across crucial areas such as Cards, Payments, Retail Lending, and Contact Centre operations. He has a proven track record in building and scaling businesses, driving profitability, and leading digital transformation initiatives within regulated banking environments. Prior to this appointment, he held senior leadership roles, including Senior Executive Vice President and Head – Cards, Payments & Contact Centre, at other institutions.

Strategic Role and Tenure

Mr. Babu’s appointment is for an initial period of three (3) years, commencing from his joining date. The term may be renewable thereafter, subject to a review by the Board of Directors. His role will focus on driving strategic growth, enhancing customer-centric initiatives, and furthering the digital transformation across the bank’s banking operations within the credit card vertical.
