Sonata Software has announced the appointment of Rajsekhar Datta Roy as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 9, 2026. He succeeds Samir Dhir, who will transition to an Advisor role until the end of 2026. Bringing over three decades of industry experience, Raj is set to lead the company’s international business strategy, focusing on its ongoing transformation into an AI-first organization and scaling its global delivery capabilities.

Leadership Transition

Following a successful tenure, Samir Dhir will step down as Managing Director and CEO on May 8, 2026. To ensure a seamless handover, he will continue to serve as an Advisor to the Board of Directors until December 31, 2026.
