The company reported a significant 70% increase in sales, reaching ₹3,668 crore compared to ₹2,154 crore in the prior year’s quarter. Profit After Tax (PAT) also saw a substantial jump of 89%, amounting to ₹666 crore.

Solar Industries India Limited has disclosed its financial performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 (Q1FY27), ending on June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated robust growth across key financial metrics, indicating a positive start to the fiscal year.
Key Financial Highlights for Q1FY27
The company’s total sales for the quarter reached ₹3,668 crore, marking an impressive year-on-year increase of 70% from ₹2,154 crore reported in Q1FY26. This substantial revenue growth underscores the company’s expanding market presence and operational efficiency. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBIDTA) also saw a significant rise of 82%, reaching ₹1,024 crore from ₹564 crore in the same period last year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew by 89% to ₹911 crore, up from ₹481 crore in Q1FY26. The net profit, or Profit After Tax (PAT), surged by 89% to ₹666 crore, compared to ₹353 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Customer Segment Performance
The presentation also highlighted performance across customer segments. Domestic Explosives contributed 37% of the sales in Q1FY27, with sales of ₹1,361 crore. International Explosives also accounted for 37% of sales, amounting to ₹1,364 crore, showing strong growth from the previous year. The Defence segment saw its share of sales decrease to 26% (₹933 crore), while the ‘Others’ segment remained minimal at 0%.
Order Book Status
As of June 30, 2026, Solar Industries India Limited reported a healthy order book status valued at ₹21,350 crore, providing a solid foundation for future revenue streams.
