SKF India Limited Strong Sales Growth Reported for Q4 and FY 2025-26

SKF India Limited announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The company achieved a 3% quarterly sales growth to 5.6 billion INR, and a 12.8% year-on-year growth for the full fiscal year, reaching 20.3 billion INR. Despite rising costs impacting profitability, management highlights strong volume growth across key automotive segments, including two-wheelers, cars, and powertrains, alongside significant new business wins totaling approximately 656 million INR.

Financial Performance Overview

For the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26 (January–March 2026), SKF India reported net sales of 5.6 billion INR, representing a 3% increase quarter-on-quarter. The full-year results reflect a broader upward trend, with annual sales climbing 12.8% to 20.3 billion INR. This growth was largely driven by robust demand in core business areas, specifically within the 2W, car, and powertrain segments.

Profitability and Operational Factors

While top-line growth remained strong, profitability was impacted by higher costs and one-off factors. The company reported a PBT margin of 9.0% for the quarter and 12.3% for the full year. Management noted that while higher operating costs posed challenges, they were partially offset by significant volume growth across the industrial and automotive sectors. Additionally, the company maintained an operating cash flow of 4.058 billion INR with a solid 85% cash conversion ratio.

Strategic Business Wins

SKF India continues to execute its ‘RACE’ strategy, focusing on innovative products that support efficient vehicle development. During the recent period, the company secured major new business wins valued at 656 million INR. These wins span across multiple categories:

  • Two-Three Wheelers: New contracts for EV eMotors bearings, wheel speed sensor bearings, and hub bearings.
  • Passenger Vehicles: Wins for transmission bearings, pinion bearings, and EV eAxle reducer bearings.
  • Commercial Vehicles: New orders for transmission bearings and unitized wheel bearings.

Customer Recognition

The company’s commitment to excellence and sustainability was further validated by industry awards in the first quarter of 2026, including the Clean Energy Champion award from TVS Motors, Excellence in Environmental Initiatives from Honda Motorcycles, and Best Delivery Performance from Suzuki Motorcycles.
