Revenue from operations also saw a significant drop to INR 5.5 billion from INR 8.7 billion in Q1 FY26. The company attributed the quarterly performance to the timing of project-related revenue recognition but stated that underlying business fundamentals remain strong.

Signatureglobal (India) Limited has released its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27). The company announced a net loss after tax of INR 0.2 billion for the quarter. This contrasts with a profit after tax of INR 0.3 billion recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY26) and a substantial profit of INR 11.5 billion in Q4 FY26.
Revenue and Margins Decline
Revenue from operations stood at INR 5.5 billion in Q1 FY27, marking a decrease from INR 8.7 billion in Q1 FY26 and INR 11.1 billion in Q4 FY26. The company cited the timing of project-related revenue recognition as the primary factor impacting its quarterly performance. Despite this, Signatureglobal expressed confidence in its robust project pipeline and sustained construction progress, positioning it for future revenue growth.
The adjusted gross profit margin for Q1 FY27 was 24%, which remained healthy and broadly in line with historical levels. However, the adjusted EBITDA margin saw a notable decline, standing at 6% in Q1 FY27 compared to 12% in Q1 FY26 and 16% in Q4 FY26. Management stated that while margin performance was influenced by revenue recognition, the focus remains on operational excellence and efficient project execution.
Operational Highlights for Q1 FY27
In operational updates, the company’s pre-sales experienced a strong 25% QoQ growth, reaching INR 19.7 billion in Q1 FY27, up from INR 15.7 billion in Q4 FY26. This performance is attributed to a healthy project pipeline and established brand strength. Average sales realization increased to INR 17,093 per sq. ft. in Q1 FY27, driven by the launch of a premium residential project in Gurugram.
Collections for Q1 FY27 were INR 6.7 billion, a decrease compared to INR 9.2 billion in Q4 FY26 and INR 9.3 billion in Q1 FY26. The company’s net debt increased to INR 3.9 billion at the end of Q1 FY27 from INR 2.0 billion at the end of FY26. Despite this, Signatureglobal maintained substantial cash and bank balances of INR 25.22 billion as of June 30, 2026, ensuring a strong liquidity position.
