The company successfully commissioned two new annealing furnaces with capacities of 25 MT and 30 MT, alongside a 2300 mm vertical foil separator. These strategic upgrades are designed to streamline production, improve consistency, and support the manufacturing of specialized Ultra-Light Gauge (ULG) and Light Gauge (LG) foils ranging from 6 to 15 microns.
Strategic Production Upgrades
On April 21, 2026, Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited announced a major operational expansion at its Pakuria unit. By commissioning two new annealing furnaces (25 MT and 30 MT capacities), the company aims to optimize its annealing process and boost overall production efficiency. These additions ensure a higher degree of consistency in output and product quality, aligning with the firm’s objective of meeting increasing market demand.
Enhancing Specialized Foil Manufacturing
In addition to the furnace upgrades, the company has integrated a 2300 mm Vertical Foil Separator (LGSS) into its operations.
