Shakti Pumps: Q1 FY27 Revenue Soars 37.9% to ₹859 Crore

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has commenced fiscal year 2027 on a strong note, reporting a 37.9% year-on-year increase in revenue for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue reached INR859 crore, up from INR623 crore in Q1 FY26. The company also saw a 57.6% rise in solar pump installations and maintains a healthy order book of approximately INR1,000 crore.

Strong Start to FY27

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has demonstrated robust financial performance in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), with revenues escalating to INR859 crore, marking a substantial 37.9% increase compared to INR623 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY26). This significant growth trajectory reflects strong operational execution, continued demand in its core solar pump business, and a strengthening market presence.

Solar Pump Segment Momentum

The company achieved remarkable momentum in solar pump installations during the quarter, with volumes surging by 57.6% year-on-year. A total of 27,678 pumps were installed in Q1 FY27, an increase from 17,557 pumps in Q1 FY26. This expansion is attributed to efficient order execution, sustained demand driven by state-led programs, and the company’s scalability in deployment.

Financial Highlights and Order Book

EBITDA margins remained stable at 9.6% sequentially, showcasing business resilience. Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q1 FY27 stood at INR52 crore, an increase of 35% over Q4 FY26. Shakti Pumps also maintains a healthy and diversified order book valued at approximately INR1,000 crore as of July 22, 2026. The company is optimistic about continued growth, driven by initiatives like the PM-KUSUM 2.0 scheme.

Diversification and Future Investments

Beyond its core solar pump business, Shakti Pumps is actively diversifying into adjacent areas, including its emerging cash and retail sales business, which recorded INR24 crore in Q1 FY27. The company is also investing in expanding its manufacturing capacities for pumps, motors, VFDs, and solar structures, alongside backward integration projects for DCR module and cell facilities. These strategic investments are aimed at supporting future growth and strengthening its integrated manufacturing capabilities.
