Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced a fresh capital infusion of ₹10 Crore into its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited. Through the subscription of 1 Crore equity shares at a face value of ₹10 each, the company continues its strategic focus on the electric vehicle component sector. This move brings the total consolidated investment in the subsidiary to ₹65 Crore, supporting the ongoing expansion of its clean energy manufacturing operations.

Boosting Electric Mobility Capabilities

As part of its long-term growth strategy, Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has further bolstered its subsidiary, Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited. The latest investment of ₹10 Crore demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its footprint in the burgeoning electric vehicle ecosystem. By increasing its stake through the acquisition of 1 Crore equity shares, the parent company is providing the necessary capital to scale operations for the subsidiary.

Focus on EV Infrastructure

Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited is focused on the manufacturing of critical EV components, including specialized motors for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and special purpose vehicles, alongside chargers and controllers. Since its incorporation on December 16, 2021, the subsidiary has demonstrated consistent growth, with a reported turnover of ₹372.73 Lakhs for the financial year ending March 2025.

Financial and Operational Outlook

This capital injection elevates the total consolidated investment in the subsidiary to ₹65 Crore. The company remains dedicated to advancing its manufacturing prowess in the green energy sector, aiming to capture the rising demand for EV powertrain solutions in the Indian market. The investment is conducted entirely via a cash-based subscription, ensuring that the subsidiary is well-equipped to meet its upcoming operational milestones.
