SBI Card has submitted its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) Core Indicators for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The report, addressed to The BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, outlines the company’s commitment to responsible business practices and sustainability.
Environmental Performance
The company reported its energy consumption, with total energy consumption from renewable sources at 883.76 GJ and from non-renewable sources at 10,832.34 GJ for FY 2025-26. Water withdrawal stood at 28,083.78 kilolitres, with consumption matching this figure. Greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) totalled 2,234.65 tCO₂e. Waste management details include 1.953 metric tonnes of plastic waste generated and 0.200 metric tonnes of e-waste, with significant efforts in recycling and reuse.
Social Responsibility and Employee Well-being
In terms of social indicators, SBI Card reported robust training programs covering 98.11% of its employees on human rights issues. Employee well-being measures as a percentage of total revenue stood at 0.112%. The company also detailed its efforts in enabling gender diversity, with gross wages paid to females representing 22.05% of total wages in FY 2026. For human rights, there were 2 complaints related to sexual harassment filed in FY 2026.
