Sanofi India Announces Interim Dividend and Financial Results

Sanofi India Limited has declared an interim dividend of ₹75 per equity share of face value ₹10 for the financial year 2026. The company confirmed this significant announcement following its Board of Directors’ meeting held on October 29, 2026. The dividend payment will adhere to stipulated timelines, with a record date set for November 5, 2026.

Financial Performance for Q3 2026

The Board of Directors also approved the unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2026. These results indicate robust performance, with profits before tax and exceptional items rising 22% to INR 158 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to INR 130 crores in the same period of 2025. Profit before tax as a percentage of net sales improved to 34% in Q3 2026, up from 29% in Q3 2025. This improvement is attributed to a favorable product mix, a one-off reversal of provisions, and disciplined cost management, which led to operating expenses declining by 8%.

Key Business Highlights

The company’s performance was notably bolstered by its Diabetes Portfolio, which saw a 9% growth in Q3 2026, cementing Sanofi’s leadership in the Diabetes Injectable segment with a 55% market share. Products like Lantus®, Toujeo®, and Apidra®, along with Soliqua®, were key contributors. The public sector business also experienced a substantial surge of 85%. Export sales demonstrated strong double-digit growth, underscoring the resilience of Sanofi India’s international operations.

In its commentary, Managing Director Deepak Arora highlighted the consistent double-digit growth in the diabetes business and Sanofi India’s PAT (Profit After Tax) year-to-date. The company also reiterated its commitment to community initiatives, including its KIDS Program aimed at educating children about diabetes and healthy lifestyles.
