Samvardhana Motherson International Limited Reports Record Annual Revenue and Strong Growth in FY26

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has achieved its highest-ever quarterly and annual revenues, with Q4FY26 revenue climbing 17% year-on-year to Rs. 34,309 crores. Driven by strong financial discipline, the company reached an all-time low leverage ratio of 0.8x. Amidst record capital expenditure, the board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.25 per share, bringing the total dividend for FY26 to Rs. 0.60 per share.

Financial Highlights for FY26

For the fiscal year 2025-26, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited reported a total annual revenue exceeding Rs. 1.25 lakh crores, marking an 11% year-on-year growth. The fourth quarter performance was particularly robust, with revenue reaching Rs. 34,309 crores and an EBITDA of Rs. 3,805 crores. The normalized PAT for the quarter stood at Rs. 1,674 crores, reflecting resilience in a challenging macroeconomic environment.

Strategic Growth and Diversification

The company continues to see strong growth in emerging sectors, with Consumer Electronics growing 7.5x and Aerospace registering a 40% year-on-year increase. A key highlight is the company’s USD 96 billion booked business, which provides robust visibility for near-to-mid-term growth, balanced between Automotive (75%), Automotive EVs (22%), and Non-Automotive (3%) segments.

Operational Expansion and Capital Allocation

Motherson is currently managing 16 new greenfield projects, with 13 expected to come onstream during FY27. The company invested Rs. 5,911 crores in capex for FY26 and has projected an FY27 capex outlook of Rs. 6,000 crores (+/- 10%). Notably, 50% of the upcoming FY27 capex is allocated toward growth, with 60% of that specific portion dedicated to expanding the Non-Automotive business.

Dividend Announcement

Following the strong financial results, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.25 per share. Subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on July 30, 2026, the record date for this dividend is set for July 14, 2026. This final payout supplements the Rs. 0.35 interim dividend already paid, resulting in a total dividend of Rs. 0.60 per share for the fiscal year.
