Sammaan Capital Limited has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the first quarter of FY2026-27, ended June 30, 2026. The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on August 13, 2026, considered and approved these results. The financial statements, along with the Limited Review Reports from the Joint Statutory Auditors, have been submitted and will be published as per regulations.

Key Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27)

The reported consolidated financial results indicate total income of ₹1,682.81 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Expenses amounted to ₹1,356.80 crore, leading to a profit before exceptional items and tax of ₹326.01 crore. The profit attributable to shareholders for the period was ₹243.30 crore.

Board Appointments and Changes

In a significant development, the Board approved the appointment of H.E. Dalia Hazem Gamil Khorshid (DIN: 11789322) as an Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. This appointment is based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval.

Furthermore, the Board noted the cessation of Mr. Subhash Sheoratan Mundra as Non-Executive Chairman and Independent Director upon completion of his second and final term on August 17, 2026. To ensure governance continuity, Mr. Dinabandhu Mohapatra will hold interim charge as Chairman from August 18, 2026.

The Board also acknowledged a letter from the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) nominating Mr. P. S. Negi as its nominee director, replacing Mr. Rajiv Gupta. The company will initiate the process for this change.

The company also provided a statement on deviation or variation in the utilization of proceeds from the issue of equity shares and non-convertible debentures, confirming no deviation. A certificate of security cover for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, was also provided.
