Somvir Sindhu will hold the office until the ensuing 34th Annual General Meeting, where his position will be regularized by the shareholders.

Sh. Somvir Sindhu holds a graduation degree and brings extensive experience of over 10 years in the coal mining and mining logistics sector. His business interests span across companies involved in mining, logistics, coal beneficiation, power generation, and real estate. He is not related to any existing director of the company.

Resignation of Director

In a separate but concurrent development, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Solanki, a Non-Executive Director, tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors and its committees. His resignation is effective from the close of business hours on August 12, 2026. Sh. Solanki cited other preoccupations as the reason for his departure. The company has confirmed there is no other material reason for his resignation beyond what was stated.

Impact on Committees

Consequent to his resignation, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Solanki has also ceased to be a member of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee and the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Company.
