Penalty for Supply Violations
R R Kabel has received orders imposing penalties from the Office of the Superintendent, Range-III, Division-VIII, CGST & CE, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The total penalty imposed amounts to ₹34,12,542, comprising two separate penalties of ₹15,31,450 and ₹18,81,092.
Details of the Imposed Penalties
The penalties were imposed due to ex-parte orders alleging that the company made supplies of goods without actual movement. The orders, with reference numbers CGST/R-III/OIO/AKP/04/2025-26 and CGST/R-III/OIO/AKP/05/2025-26, are dated December 11, 2025. R R Kabel received official notification of these penalties on December 11, 2025.
Company’s Response
R R Kabel intends to appeal against both orders. The penalties were imposed under Section 122(1) (ii) and (x) of the CGST Act, 2017, along with corresponding sections of the UTGST Act, 2017, and the IGST Act, 2017. The penalties are related to alleged supplies of goods without actual movement.
