Furthermore, he will take on the ex-officio duties of Chief Operating Officer for RITES EXPOCON, further integrating his expertise into the company’s operational framework.
Professional Background and Expertise
Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta is a Chartered Accountant with over 24 years of post-qualification experience spanning corporate finance, project finance, and strategic business operations. With more than 21 years of association with RITES Limited, he brings a deep understanding of the firm’s diverse business verticals, including infrastructure, exports, international business, and renewable energy.
Before his current appointment, he served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of REMC Limited, a joint venture focused on renewable energy and energy management initiatives for the Indian Railways. His extensive resume also includes a tenure as Dy. Chief Financial Advisor for the Ahmedabad Rail Metro, where he successfully managed financial and project execution aspects of large-scale, international-funded infrastructure projects.
