Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta is a member of the Chartered Accountant community since 2001 and has been an integral part of RITES Ltd. for the past 21 years. Throughout his tenure, he has demonstrated leadership across diverse sectors, including Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Exports, and International Business. His deep expertise spans financial management, corporate finance, and project management, with a proven track record in designing and implementing robust accounting systems and internal control procedures.

Key Contributions and Roles

Before stepping into his new role as CSO, Shri Gupta was instrumental in managing the Finance Concurrence Division of the company, focusing on financial propriety and prudence. His background includes overseeing mega infrastructure projects funded by the World Bank and managing Line of Credit initiatives issued by the Government of India. Furthermore, he brings valuable cross-industry experience from his previous work with S.K. Birla Group’s Diamond Cements and various top-tier Chartered Accountant firms.
