The company’s EBITDA margin for Q2 FY27 stood at 14.7%, with a PAT margin of 9.9%.
Business Segment Performance
The Crop Care business demonstrated topline growth of 4%, primarily fueled by a 17% increase in the B2B segment, attributed to a strong recovery in the CSM portfolio. Domestic Formulations (B2C) remained flat year-on-year, with herbicides showing a 16% growth, while insecticides saw flat performance. The Soil & Plant Health (SPH) business recorded a significant 22% growth, largely driven by price increases.
During the quarter, Rallis launched four new products within the Crop Care category: Silentra (Insecticide), Marcellus (Fungicide), Blitox Super (Fungicide), and Trynage (Herbicide). These products are designed to address critical crop-pest segments, including Rice BPH and sheath blight, sugarcane herbicides, and disease control in horticulture crops.
The Seeds business experienced a decline, which the company attributes primarily to higher returns from the Kharif season.
