Project Scope and Value
The awarded contract encompasses a comprehensive scope of work, including the execution of roadbed, minor and major bridges, RUBs/LHS, building works, supply of ballast, and P. Way linking. It also includes utility shifting of S&T and electrification works, such as general service works and power supply arrangements. Specifically, the project involves the shifting and modification of HT and LT lines between Khurda Road – Gangadharpur, facilitating the execution of a 3rd line between Nergundi-Barang (22 km) and Khurda Road-Vizianagaram (363 km) on the Bhadrak-Vizianagaram Section (385 km).
The broad consideration for this order is stated as Rs. 404,88,18,738 (Rupees Four Hundred And Four Crore Eighty-Eight Lakh Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred And Thirty-Eight Rupees Only), inclusive of GST. The domestic contract is slated for execution within a period of 912 days.

RVNL confirmed that this work is in the normal course of business for the company. The disclosure also clarifies that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the contract does not fall within related party transactions conducted at arm’s length.
