Furthermore, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.71 per equity share for the fiscal year 2025-26, in addition to the interim dividend already paid.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) delivered stable operational results. On a standalone basis, the company achieved total revenue of ₹20,818.75 crore for the year, resulting in a net profit after tax of ₹800.48 crore. Consolidated figures, which include the performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates, show a total annual income of ₹21,187.35 crore and a net profit after tax of ₹870.66 crore.

Dividend Recommendation

Demonstrating its commitment to shareholder value, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.71 per equity share (face value of ₹10/- each) for the financial year 2025-26. This dividend is subject to approval by the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. This payout comes in addition to the interim dividend of ₹1 per equity share already distributed by the company earlier in the year.

Strategic Developments

During the meeting, the board also addressed key corporate developments, including the formal closure of the RVNL joint venture company, M/s. Kyrgyzindustry-RVNL CJSC, located in the Central Asia region. Additionally, the company noted the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Sabbavaram Sheelanagar Road Development Limited, established in the state of Andhra Pradesh, to further expand its infrastructure development footprint.

The company continues to focus on its core expertise in the Development of Rail Infrastructure, which remains its primary reportable operating segment. Management emphasized that despite nominal delays in receipts from specific projects, such as the Krishnapatnam Railway Company Limited (KRCL), the overall business trajectory remains consistent with long-term strategic goals.
