PVR INOX: Opens 6-Screen Cinema in Bengaluru, Expands Network to 1786 Screens

PVR INOX Limited has launched a new six-screen cinema at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This adds 949 seats to its network, featuring advanced technologies like all-laser projection and DTSX immersive sound. With this opening, PVR INOX now operates 1786 screens across 356 properties in 113 cities, solidifying its position as the largest multiplex network in India and Sri Lanka.

PVR INOX Expands Bengaluru Footprint with New Cinema

PVR INOX Limited has announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art, six-screen cinema located at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia on Varthur Road, near Whitefield, Bengaluru. This latest addition boasts a seating capacity of 949 guests and marks the company’s 28th cinema in Bengaluru, further strengthening its presence in the city’s rapidly developing eastern corridor.

Enhanced Moviegoing Experience

The new multiplex is equipped with advanced cinema technologies, including all-laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and Next-Gen 3D. Notably, two auditoriums feature DTSX immersive sound, designed to deliver a more expansive and captivating audio experience for premium content and major film releases. The auditoriums will also offer enhanced comfort with Celebrity Recliners and Lounger Seats.

Network Growth and Strategy

The launch of this Bengaluru property is part of PVR INOX’s ongoing strategy to focus on high-growth urban markets and carefully selected locations. With this new opening, PVR INOX now operates a network of 1786 screens across 356 properties in 113 cities throughout India and Sri Lanka. This expansion reinforces the company’s position as the largest multiplex operator in the region.

New Food Court Concept Introduced

In line with enhancing the overall customer experience, the cinema also introduces PVR INOX’s new Cinema Food Court concept. This initiative aims to integrate food, beverage, and hospitality more centrally into the moviegoing journey, offering a social and experiential dimension for audiences to enjoy before, during, and after their movie.
