37th Annual General Meeting Details
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (“POWERGRID”) has announced its 37th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”), which will be held on Thursday, 20th August, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. (IST). The meeting will be conducted through Video Conferencing (“VC”) / Other Audio-Visual Means (“OAVM”).
Key Business Transacted
The AGM will address several key business items, including:
- Ordinary Business: To receive, consider and adopt the Audited Financial Statements for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2026, along with the Board’s Report and the Auditors’ Report. This also includes confirming payment of interim dividends and declaring the final dividend for the financial year 2025-26. Additionally, the appointment of directors in place of retiring ones and the authorization of the Board to fix the remuneration of the Statutory Auditors for FY 2026-27 will be discussed.
- Special Business: This includes the appointment of Shri Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan as Chairman and Managing Director, not liable to retire by rotation. It also covers the ratification of remuneration of the Cost Auditors for the Financial Year 2026-27 and the enhancement of borrowing limits from ₹1,80,000 crore to ₹2,20,000 crore, and subsequently from ₹30,000 crore to ₹35,000 crore for FY 2026-27, and also for FY 2027-28.
