Project Completion and Operational Readiness

PNC Infratech Limited is pleased to report that its subsidiary, Kanpur Lucknow Expressway Private Limited, has achieved a significant milestone with the issuance of a Provisional Completion Certificate (PCOD) for the Kanpur Lucknow Expressway project. This certificate, issued by the Independent Engineer on 10th June 2026, declares the project fit for entry into commercial operations. The commencement date for these operations is set for 27th April 2026.

Key Project Details

The project, a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) initiative, involves the construction of a six-lane upgradable to eight-lane expressway. It includes a spur from km.10.980 to km.28.500 in Uttar Pradesh under the Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-1). The appointed date for the project was 01.02.2023, with a scheduled completion period of 910 days. The revised scheduled completion date was 27.04.2026, aligning with the provisional completion date.

Financial Overview

The project’s bid cost amounts to Rs. 1413.0 Crores, subject to price index adjustments as per the Concession Agreement. The Concessionaire for this project is Kanpur Lucknow Expressway Private Limited, with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as the Authority.
