NTPC Green Energy: Commences 68.22 MW Solar Project in Gujarat

NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commercial operation of a 68.22 MW solar power project in Dahod, Gujarat. This capacity is part of a larger 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. The commissioning of this phase brings NTPC Green Energy’s group commercial capacity to 10,842.86 MW, with total installed capacity now reaching 10,911.08 MW.

New Solar Capacity Commissioned

NTPC Green Energy Limited has officially declared the commercial operation of a significant solar power asset. On July 23, 2026, the third phase, comprising 68.22 MW, of the 200 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project located in Dahod, Gujarat, commenced operations. This project is undertaken by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.

Capacity Expansion

The addition of this 68.22 MW capacity marks a notable expansion in NTPC Green Energy’s renewable portfolio. The company’s current commercial capacity now stands at 10,842.86 MW. With this new operational phase, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has been boosted to 10,911.08 MW, underscoring the group’s commitment to increasing its renewable energy footprint.
