Shri Vivek Nishant Nath is a distinguished professional with over three decades of extensive experience in the mining and metals industry. His expertise spans sales and marketing, international commercial operations, procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Shri Nath has held key positions in prominent organizations such as NMDC, Essar Steel Limited, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, and Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC).
During his tenure at OMC, Shri Nath played a pivotal role in significantly increasing iron ore sales and revenue, demonstrating his ability to drive growth through customer-centric initiatives and strategic reforms. His leadership saw OMC’s iron ore sales surge from 12.33 million tonnes in FY 2020-21 to 38.26 million tonnes in FY 2025-26. He is also a recognized industry expert, having authored numerous research papers and spoken at various national and international forums.
