NMDC Limited has announced the appointment of its new Statutory Auditors and Branch Auditors. The Comptroller & Auditor General of India has designated M/s. M C Bhandari & Co. as the Statutory Auditors for consolidated and standalone accounts, including the head office and specific units. M/s. Vinay Kumar & Co. will oversee the consolidated accounts. Branch Auditors have also been appointed for various project sites and regional offices.
Statutory Auditor Appointments
NMDC Limited has formally announced the appointment of its Statutory Auditors and Branch Auditors for the upcoming fiscal year. This decision has been made following a directive from the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
Statutory Auditors Designated
For the company’s consolidated and standalone financial accounts, the role of Statutory Auditor has been assigned to M/s. M C Bhandari & Co., Hyderabad. This appointment covers the head office, R&D Lab, and the Sponge Iron unit in Paloncha.
Additionally, M/s. Vinay Kumar & Co., Allahabad, will also be involved in overseeing the consolidated accounts.
Branch Auditors Appointed
The following firms have been appointed as Branch Auditors for various operational sites:
- M/s. AVRSK and Associates, LLP, Visakhapatnam: Responsible for the Kirandul, Bacheli, Slurry Pipe Line Unit, and Regional Office – Vizag.
- M/s. BPSSY & Co., Ballari: Appointed to audit the Donimalai Complex, including the Kumaraswamy iron ore mine & Pellet Plant.
- Diamond Mining Project, Panna will be audited by M/s. Vinay Kumar & Co.
These appointments are effective as communicated by the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
