The designated auditors are responsible for conducting the statutory audit of the company’s financial statements.
Auditor Appointments and Continuity
The three firms of Chartered Accountants appointed as Joint Statutory Auditors are:
- M/s Vinod Kumar & Associates, New Delhi
- M/s S Jaykishan, Kolkata
- M/s Dharam Raj & Co., Jammu
It is significant to note that two of these auditors, M/s S Jaykishan, Kolkata and M/s Dharam Raj & Co., Jammu, have been reappointed and continue their roles from the previous year. This continuity is expected to facilitate a smooth and consistent audit process.
Scope of Audit
Furthermore, the appointed Joint Statutory Auditors will also be responsible for auditing the Consolidated Financial Statements of NHPC Limited.
