Nestlé India Reports Strongest Quarterly Growth in Nearly a Decade

Nestlé India has delivered robust performance for the financial year ending 31st March 2026, marked by high double-digit growth and its highest-ever domestic sales of INR 6,445 crore for the final quarter. Powered by strong volume-led growth across all product groups, the company achieved an EBITDA margin of 26.3%. The Board has recommended a final dividend of INR 5.00 per share, reflecting strong cash generation and confidence in future growth.

Record-Breaking Financial Performance

Nestlé India has demonstrated exceptional resilience and growth, concluding the 2025-26 financial year with significant milestones. Total sales for the year reached INR 23,071.5 crore, supported by a broad-based performance across its portfolio. In the final quarter, total sales and domestic sales grew by 23.4% and 23.1% respectively, underscoring the success of the company’s penetration-led volume growth strategy.

Strategic Growth Drivers

The company’s growth was fueled by a multifaceted approach, including aggressive media investments—with advertising spends increasing by over 50%—and a focus on premiumization. All product segments contributed to this success: Prepared Dishes and Cooking Aids saw strong volume gains, while Confectionery and Powdered and Liquid Beverages experienced robust double-digit growth. Additionally, the company significantly expanded its reach to approximately 216,000 villages, strengthening its rural market presence.

Future Outlook and Shareholder Value

Looking ahead, Nestlé India remains committed to four strategic pillars: consumer centricity, penetration-led volume growth, reinvestment in brands and capacity, and tech-led operational efficiency. The Board has recommended a final dividend of INR 5.00 per equity share, payable following approval at the upcoming 67th Annual General Meeting scheduled for 3rd July 2026. With INR 5,047.6 crore in cash generated from operations, the company is well-positioned to maintain its growth trajectory and deliver sustainable value.
