NALCO: FY26 Performance Fuels Expansion, Dividend Approved

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) announced its record operational and financial performance for FY 2025-26 at its 45th Annual General Meeting. The company achieved its highest-ever revenue and profits, driven by strong performance in its core segments. Shareholders approved a final dividend of ₹1.00 per equity share, amounting to ₹183.66 crore, following an interim dividend of ₹10.50 per share earlier in the year.

Record Financial and Operational Performance for FY 2025-26

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has reported a landmark financial year for FY 2025-26. The company achieved its highest-ever operational performance across key parameters, which translated into record financial results. This included achieving its all-time highest Revenue from Operations, Profit Before Tax, and Profit After Tax. Peak sales were recorded in major segments such as Domestic Alumina and Aluminium Metal.

Expansion and Future Growth

The strong performance in FY 2025-26 is set to fuel ambitious expansion plans and future-ready growth initiatives for NALCO. The company outlined key expansion initiatives including the 5th Stream Expansion of the Alumina Refinery at Damanjodi, development of Pottangi Bauxite Mines, augmentation of captive coal capacity, and proposed expansion of the Aluminium Smelter and Captive Power Plant at Anugola. These strategic moves aim to enhance competitiveness, operational resilience, and create sustainable long-term value.

Dividend Approval

At the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held via video conferencing, shareholders were informed of the company’s robust financial health. NALCO had previously paid an interim dividend of ₹10.50 per equity share, totaling ₹1,928.46 crore, during FY 2025-26 in three tranches. Shareholders also approved the final dividend of ₹1.00 per equity share, amounting to ₹183.66 crore, reinforcing the commitment to creating enduring value for shareholders.

Strategic Outlook

Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO, highlighted that the demand outlook for aluminium in India remains favourable and is expected to continue on a strong growth trajectory. He also emphasized NALCO’s strategic initiatives in critical minerals, resource and energy security, circular economy, digital transformation, and renewable energy.
