This move is part of NALCO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its corporate governance framework and strategic oversight.
Shri Neeraj’s Profile and Expertise
Shri Neeraj is a seasoned legal professional with more than thirty years of experience in legal practice, serving as an Advocate and Legal Consultant since 1994. His distinguished career includes roles such as Additional Advocate General, Haryana, and President of the Central Delhi Court Bar Association. He also holds memberships in key legal bodies, including the Special Committee of the Bar Council of Delhi.
Further highlighting his extensive experience, Shri Neeraj serves as the General Secretary of Lawyer’s Voice, a national organization dedicated to the welfare of marginalized sections of society. He has also held the position of Senior Central Government Standing Counsel before the Armed Forces Tribunal. His leadership journey commenced during his university days, where he served as President of the Students’ Union at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Academically, he holds an L.L.B & LL.M. in Human Rights & Duties and an M.Com from Agra University.

NALCO has confirmed that Shri Neeraj is not related to any current Directors or Key Managerial Personnel of the Company. Furthermore, he has not been debarred from holding a director’s position by any regulatory authority, ensuring compliance with all governance norms.
