Muthoot Finance Strong Financial Performance in Q2 FY2026 with Robust Growth in Loan AUM

Exceptional Consolidated Loan Growth

Muthoot Finance reported a consolidated Loan AUM of ₹1,47,673 Crores for Q2 FY2026, marking a substantial 42% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth underscores the company’s strong market position and effective business strategies.

Profitability Surge

The company’s consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) reached ₹4,386 Crores in Q2 FY2026, reflecting a significant 74% surge year-over-year. This remarkable profitability highlights Muthoot Finance’s operational efficiency and financial prudence.

Standalone Performance Highlights

Muthoot Finance’s standalone Loan AUM stood at ₹1,32,305 Crores, showing a 47% YoY increase. The standalone Gold Loan AUM also experienced growth, reaching ₹1,24,918 Crores, a 45% YoY increase. In addition, standalone Profit After Tax grew 88% YoY, with profit reaching ₹4,391 Crores.

Key Business Updates

The company’s Average Gold Loan AUM Per Branch rose to ₹25.15 Crores. Furthermore, Gold Loan Disbursements to New Customers was ₹13,183 Crores serving 8,90,920 customers. The quantity of Gold held as security in lockers increased from 199 tonnes to 209 Tonnes YoY.

International Credit Rating Upgrade

Fitch Ratings upgraded Muthoot Finance’s debt rating from ‘BB’ to ‘BB+’ with a ‘Stable’ outlook. This upgrade recognizes the company’s solid financial standing and stable performance.

Subsidiary Performance

Muthoot Homefin (India) Limited reported a loan AUM of ₹3,247 Crores, a 33% YoY increase. Total revenue reached ₹222 Crores, representing a 44% YoY increase. Muthoot Money’s Loan AUM reached ₹6,393 Crores. Muthoot Insurance Brokers insured over 6,48,400 lives with a premium collection of ₹867 million for the half year ended September 30, 2025.
