MSTC Limited: Appoints New Government Nominee Director to Board

MSTC Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Santosh as a Government Nominee Director on its Board, effective August 7, 2026. Ms. Santosh, a Statistical Adviser from the Ministry of Steel, brings over 25 years of public administration experience. She replaces Ms. Sudershan Mendiratta. Profile of New Director

Ms. Santosh, holding DIN 09519383, is a Statistical Adviser at the Ministry of Steel. She is an officer of the Indian Statistical Services (ISS) from the 1999 batch, with more than 25 years of experience in public administration. She holds a Post Graduate degree with an M.Sc. in Statistics. Her career includes significant roles such as Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Coal and positions within NITI Aayog. Ms. Santosh has prior board experience, having served on the boards of Central Coalfields Limited, Eastern Coalfields Limited, and Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

Previous Director and Compliance

Ms. Santosh’s appointment fills the vacancy left by Ms. Sudershan Mendiratta, the former Ex-Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Steel. Ms. Mendiratta ceased to be a director effective August 6, 2026.
