Mohit Paper Mills: Special Window for Share Transfer & Dematerialization Opens

Mohit Paper Mills Limited has announced the opening of a special window for the transfer and dematerialization of physical securities. This initiative, running from February 05, 2026, to February 04, 2027, aims to assist shareholders who sold or purchased securities prior to April 01, 2019. The window also accommodates previously rejected transfer requests. Transferred securities will be mandatorily credited in demat mode and subject to a one-year lock-in period.

Special Window for Share Transfer and Dematerialization

Mohit Paper Mills Limited has issued a notice to its shareholders regarding the opening of a special window for the transfer and dematerialization of physical securities. This initiative is designed to facilitate investors in converting their physical share certificates into electronic (demat) form.

Window Period and Scope

The special window will be operational for a period of one year, commencing from February 05, 2026, and concluding on February 04, 2027. This period is intended to accommodate transfer and dematerialization requests for physical securities that were sold or purchased prior to April 01, 2019. The company’s announcement aligns with a SEBI circular facilitating such conversions.

Importantly, this window is also available for transfer requests that were previously submitted but faced rejection or return due to documentation deficiencies or process-related issues. All securities successfully transferred through this process will be mandatorily credited to the transferee’s demat account. These credited securities will then be under a one-year lock-in period from the date of transfer registration and cannot be transferred, lien-marked, or pledged during this time.

Important Notes for Shareholders

Shareholders wishing to utilize this facility are reminded that original security certificates and necessary documentation, as specified in the SEBI circular, must be provided. Cases involving disputes between the transferor and transferee will not be addressed within this special window and will require resolution through court or NCLT processes.

For assistance or further details, shareholders are advised to contact the Company’s Registrar and Share Transfer Agent (RTA), MUFG Intime India Private Limited, or the company directly via email at [email protected]. All transfer requests must be submitted in a complete and proper format on or before the closing date of February 04, 2027.
