Maruti Suzuki Production Volume Increases in April 2026

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has reported a strong start to the new financial year, with total production reaching 209,565 units in April 2026. This reflects a significant increase from the 179,956 units produced during the same period last year, driven by robust performance across its passenger vehicle segments and light commercial vehicles.

April 2026 Production Performance

Maruti Suzuki has released its production figures for the month of April 2026, showcasing a consistent upward trend in manufacturing output. The company achieved a grand total production of 209,565 vehicles, demonstrating growth compared to the 179,956 vehicles manufactured in April 2025.

Segment-Wise Breakdown

The passenger vehicle segment remains the primary driver of production. The ‘Passenger Cars’ category, which includes models like the Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Dzire, and Swift, recorded a total of 106,368 units. Meanwhile, the Utility Vehicles segment—encompassing models such as the Brezza, Ertiga, and Fronx—contributed 87,518 units to the monthly total.

Commercial and Utility Growth

In addition to passenger vehicles, the company produced 12,211 units of its Van segment (Eeco) and 3,468 units of Light Commercial Vehicles (Super Carry). This comprehensive production scale highlights the company’s efforts to meet rising domestic and market demand across diverse vehicle categories as the new fiscal year commences.
