Larsen & Toubro Secures Indian Army Contract with BAE Systems for BvS10 Vehicles

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in collaboration with BAE Systems, has secured a contract from the Indian Army for the indigenous manufacturing of BvS10 Sindhu all-terrain vehicles. The BvS10 Sindhu is an upgraded variant of the proven BvS10 articulated all-terrain vehicle. It’s specifically adapted for India’s diverse terrains and climates, including high altitude, desert, marshland, and amphibious environments. It has demonstrated exceptional performance in both sea-level and high-altitude regions.

Manufacturing and Support

Under the contract, L&T will indigenously produce the BvS10 Sindhu at its Armoured Systems Complex in Hazira, with technical and design support from BAE Systems Hägglunds. The contract also includes a comprehensive integrated logistics support package.
