Karur Vysya Bank Senior Management Appointments and Elevators Announced

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has announced significant changes in its senior management structure. The Board of Directors, in its meeting on June 23, 2026, approved several elevations and appointments. These changes include Shri Ramshankar R taking over as Chief Operating Officer from October 16, 2026, and Shri Ramasamy G V becoming the new Chief Financial Officer effective September 01, 2026. The bank continues to strengthen its leadership team to drive future growth.

Key Senior Management Changes at KVB

Karur Vysya Bank Limited (KVB) has announced a series of strategic appointments and elevations within its senior management cadre. These decisions were finalized during the Board of Directors’ meeting held on June 23, 2026. The approved changes aim to bolster the bank’s leadership team and ensure seamless transitions in critical roles.

Elevations and New Roles

Effective from October 16, 2026, Shri Ramshankar R, the current General Manager and Chief Financial Officer, will be elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer. This transition follows the completion of the incumbent Chief Operating Officer’s tenure on October 15, 2026. Shri Ramshankar R will also continue to oversee the Finance and Control Department in his new capacity.

Furthermore, Shri Ramasamy G V, currently serving as Senior Deputy General Manager and Head of Accounts and Taxation, will be appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel. This change will be effective from September 01, 2026, occurring after Shri Ramshankar R transitions to the Operations Department.

New Appointments and Classifications

Shri Ravinder Aggarwal has been appointed as the Head of Corporate and Institutional Group, assuming the rank of General Manager. The effective date of his charge is to be announced.

Shri Vippala Ramachandrareddy, Deputy General Manager and Head of Treasury, has been elevated to the rank of General Manager and Head of Treasury, effective June 23, 2026. He is now classified as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Bank.

Shri Ramu S, Senior Deputy General Manager and Head of Legal & Recoveries, has also been classified as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Bank, effective June 23, 2026.
