This new project is set to comprise 33.6 MW of Wind capacity and 33.6 MW AC / 43 MW DC of Solar capacity, collectively aggregating to 33.6 / 76.6 MW DC capacity.
Group Captive Framework and Strategic Impact
The project will be developed under a Group Captive arrangement for a reputable customer, further cementing KPI Green Energy’s presence in the C&I (Commercial & Industrial) and Group Captive renewable energy sectors. This development is expected to enhance the company’s capabilities in Wind, Solar, and Hybrid power generation and significantly contribute to its existing order book. The company views this as a strategic step to expand its operations through Independent Power Producer (IPP), Group Captive, and EPC opportunities, aiming to deliver long-term stakeholder value.
Project Execution and Timeline
The LOI stipulates that KPI Green Energy is to complete the project development, construction, and commissioning within a timeframe of 14 months from the date of Stage-2 connectivity. The Energy Supply Agreement is expected to have a term of 25 years from its Commencement Date. The project is awarded by a Private Body Corporate, and the company has confirmed it is a Domestic Entity. Neither the promoter nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the transaction does not fall within related party transactions.
